DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: That position of lead mechanic on link bench in the machine shop at Waycross, Georgia, was improperly filled, and that, in compliance with Rule 12 of the current agreement, Roscoe Rouse, senior qualified machinist bidding on this position, should have been assigned. Therefore, request is made that Roscoe Rouse be assigned to this position and paid the difference between his present wage rate and that which he would have received had management filled position in accordance with the rule.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the parties that the case be withdrawn.




Claim dismissed.
