DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: That the assignment of boilermaker helpers at Silvis, Illinois, or any other point on the Rock Island Railroad, to the operation of the portable flue cutting machines, the machines used in the removal of flues from a locomotive or any other type boiler, constitutes a violation of the agreement, as this class of work has always been, and is now, recognized as mechanics' work.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
