DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: That on December 19, 1939, bulletin No. 238 was posted at Hoisington, Kansas, that effective quitting time December 22, 1939, following reduction in force will be made: 3 blacksmiths-G. W. Whitt, C. A. Phillips, Roy Sears; 2 blacksmith helpers-C. P. Sumpter, F. L. McCurry, which affected the entire blacksmith force at Hoisington, Kansas; that Roy Sears, blacksmith, and F. L. McCurry, helper, should be compensated their regular rates of pay for four days due to alleged violation of Rule 21 (a) and (b).
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
