PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

      LEHIGH VALLEY RAILROAD COMPANY


DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:

    1-That on and since May 1, 1943, the carrier arbitrarily reduced the rate of pay of Blacksmith Helpers George Depue, Donald Vanderpool, Harry Hobson and Charles Roberts in violation of the controlling agreement and Rule 143 thereof.


    2-That in consideration of the aforesaid, the carrier be ordered to restore to Messrs. Depue, Vanderpool, Hobson and Roberts the difference between the wages they have been paid and the wages they should have received had their rates of pay not been reduced, retroactive to May 1, 1943.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the parties that the case be withdrawn.

                  AWARD


Claim dismissed.
