WABASH RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That at Brooklyn, Illinois, since
March 21, 1942, the carrier has and persists in violating the controlling
agreement by:
(a) Arbitrarily filling a Sunday and holiday bulletined 3:00 P. M.
to 11:00 P. M. job with the junior bidder.
(b) Declining to assign the senior bidder to said job.
2. That in consideration of the aforesaid violations, the carrier be ordered to:
(a) Assign Carman Harned to the aforesaid job.
(b) Pay Carman Sam Harned eight hours at straight time for
each Sunday and holiday lost since March 21, 1942.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is
now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
