DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: (a) That the carrier violated the terms of Rule 6 of the controlling agreement in assigning Machinists Harrison Holbrook, H. C. Riddell, Bill Blackwell, J. A. Patrick, Earl Ohr and Machinist Helpers C. E. Moore, John Richardson, D. E. Tuttle, Hume Alcorn and Crane Operator C. H. Hood to make repairs to Engine No. 1445, at pro rata rate, Sunday, February 27, 1944, Ravenna Roundhouse, Ravenna, Kentucky.


(b) That these employes be additionally compensated at one-half rate for the number of hours specified opposite their names: Harrison, Holbrook, H. C. Riddell, Bill Blackwell, J. A. Patrick, 8 hours; Earl Ohr, 5 hours; Everett Scrivner, 4 hours; C. E. Moore, John Richardson, D. E. Tuttle, Hume Alcorn, 5 hours; Rice McGee, 4 hours; C. H. Hood, 3 hours.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the parties that the case be withdrawn.




Claim dismissed.
