DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
(a) That under the controlling agreement and particularly Rule 23 (e) and
Rule 19, the carrier is improperly classifying and compensating Coal
Chute Operator B. J. Townsend.
(b) That the carrier be ordered to classify B. J. Townsend as a coal chute
gang leader and pay him the difference between the rate he has been
paid and the applicable rate to coal chute gang leader for all straight.
time and overtime hours he has worked since November 12th, 1942.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in
receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
