DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: (a) That under the controlling agreement, Carman Alex Bauer was improperly compensated by the carrier for performing planing mill service between July 27 and August 22, 1944.
(b) That the carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carman Alex Bauer the difference between the rate he was paid (97 cents per hour), and the rate he should have been paid ($1.04 per hour), for twenty-one days' service between the dates of July 27 and August 22, 1944.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
