CHICAGO, BURLINGTON & QUINCY RAILROAD COMPANY

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That on Saturday, August 24, 1946, at Centralia, Illinois, the carrier violated the controlling agreement and Rule 79 (a) thereof in rerailing two (2) cars-C. B. & Q. 92233 and Pennsylvania 192358-with three (3) section men and a switch crew.


2. That for and in consideration of the aforesaid violation Carmen E. Blasdel, J. F. Nanney and D. Clayton be compensated from 10:00 P.M. Saturday, August 24, 1946, until 2:30 A.M. Sunday, August 25, 1946, at the rate of time and one-half.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the division is now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
