CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That under the current agreement Carman Eldon Trindle and Carman Helper Lyle Gordon were unjustly damaged on October 15, 1949, when, in violation of the terms of said agreement, the carrier assigned Machinist Wirstlin and Machinist Helper Smith to apply right front spring hanger on tender truck of Locomotive No. 5055.


2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carman Trindle and Carman Helper Gordon each on the aforesaid date in the amount of four (4) hours at their respective straight time rate of pay.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
