DEPARTMENT, A. F. of L. (BIacksmiths )
DELAWARE AND HUDSON RAILROAD CORPORATION, THE
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That the Carrier assigned locomotive and coach spring work from the Blacksmith Shop at Colonic, New
York, to outside agencies in violation of the current agreement which thereby
damaged employes of the Blacksmiths' Craft on and since March 21, 1952.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
(a) Re-establish the performance of the aforementioned spring
work under -the terms of the current agreement.
(b) Restore Blacksmith Joseph Konkol and Blacksmith Helper
William Zyglewicz to service with pay for all time lost retroactive
to the aforesaid date.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
