DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: (1) That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly changed the work week and rest days of the assignments held by Carmen H. Knox, J. Hudek, L. Hanson, M. Wojtak and Carman Helper J. Kostyra, effective April 7, 1952, thereby denying these employes the opportunity to exercise their seniority to more desirable assignments.
(2) That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate the aforesaid employes in the amount of four (4) hours pay for each rest day they are required to work on their proper assignment in effect prior to April 7, 1952, and eight (8) hours for each work day on their proper assignments in effect prior to April 7, 1952 they are required to remain home retroactive to April 6, 1952.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing was held thereon, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
