ATCHISON, TOPEKA & SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY, THE
EASTERN LINES
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
(1) That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly changed Carmen J. J. Flahive and O. Krieger
from the assignments which they owned to other assignments on April 4, 1952.
(2) That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
a) Additionally compensate the aforesaid claimants in the amount
of eight (8) hours' pay for each work day the claimants were not
permitted to work their own assignments on the 7:30 A. M. to
12:00 Noon, and 12:30 P. M. to 4:00 P. M. shift retroactive to
April 4, 1952.
b) Additionally compensate: the aforesaid claimants the difference
between the straight time rate they were paid and the overtime
rate for each day they performed service on the 3:30 P. M. to 11:30
P. M. shift retroactive to April 4, 1952.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing was held thereon, and the Division is now in
receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

Case dismissed.
