DISPUTE:
CLAni OF EMPLOYES: 1. That under the current agreement Carman A. B. Bassett, L. J. Beebe and F. W. Martinez were unjustly
required to attend investigation at Newton, Kansas, December 13, 1951,
without being properly compensated for time and expenses.
2. That the Carrier be ordered to:
a) Make Carman A. B. Basset whole by compensating him for
expenses.
b) Make Carman J. L. Beebe whole by compensating him for
one (1) eight-hour day at his applicable rate and his actual expenses.
c) Make Carman F. W. Martinez whole by compensating him
for two (2) eight-hour days at his applicable overtime rate.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
