DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
"W. Carnahan, Machinist Inspector No. 668. This claim is for
8 hours' pay for Hostler starting engine 1001 on Track 24, Monday,
Sept. 21, 1953. The engine had been shut down around 10:00
A. M. It was started and taken from the shop between 3:00 and
4:00 P. M. There was no mechanic in the shop."
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the parties that the case be. withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
