THE PULLMAN COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
"1. That under the current agreement Mr. J. Vepstas was improperly employed as a Carman to perform
Carmen's work on December 2, 1953.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
a) Discontinue the service of J. Vepstas as a Carman.
b) Delete the name of J. Vepstas from the Carmen's seniority
Roster.
c) Compensate J. L. Allen, C. Dawson and Dietschwieler at
the overtime rate of pay for all the hours improperly worked
by J. Vepstas as Carman performing Carmen's work since
December 2, 1953."
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
