DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: (1) That under the current agreement the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company arbitrarily denied the Carmen Helpers D. W. Appleby, L. W. McNeil and R. H. Diefendorf employment on one of the days involved in their regularly assigned work week of 40 hours consisting of 5 days of 8 hours each, namely, Monday, September 6th, 1954.
(2) That accordingly the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad Company be ordered to make these employes whole by additionally compensating each of them in the amount of 8 hours at the time and one-half rate on the aforesaid date.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
