SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 60, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'

CHARLESTON & WESTERN CAROLINA RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That the Carrier violated the
controlling Agreement when unilaterally assigning Car Repairer T. R. Coats
to fill (temporarily) the position of Relief Car Inspector L. R. Martin August
15 to 19, 1953, inclusive.
2. That accordingly, Carrier be ordered to make adjustments by:
a) Compensating Car Inspector A. L. Mason at the time and
one half rate for August 15, 16 and 17 and,
b) Compensating Car Inspector W. A. Matthews at the time and
half rate for August 18 and 19.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
Organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the Employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
