DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Company assigned other than Machinists to perform Machinists' work such as the rebuilding of an air motor suitable for reaming purposes on November 24, 26 and 28, 1954 in violation of the current agreement.


2. That accordingly the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Company be ordered to compensate Machinists E. T. Wigell, George Allen, William Jenkins and Machinist Helpers F. Corcoran, J. Seno and F. Messerick in the amount of 8 hours each at the appropriate rate of pay for the aforesaid violations on the above dates.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to Organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the Organization that the case be withdrawn.
