DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement Rule 9 was violated when
the Carrier denied payment for meals and lodging in favor of Car
Inspector R. P. Smith while working at Myrick, Missouri from September 15th through 30th, 1953 and October 1st through 9th, 1953.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to reimburse this
employe for meals and lodging for the period of September 15th
through 30th and October 1st through 9th, 1953 in the amount of
$96.50.
EMPLOYES' STATEMENT OF FACTS: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board in
ex parte form by the above referred to organization and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
