CHESAPEAKE AND OHIO RAILWAY COMPANY, THE
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier did improperly
assign other than Stationary Engineers S&E to perform work which
is work of the Stationary engineers S&E.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
a) Discontinue the use of other than Stationary Engineers S&E to operate said equipment in the Power Plants
and Substations at Columbus, Ohio.
b) Compensate stationary engineers, Namely: Mr.
G. L. Sullivan, Mr. D. C. Mershon and Mr. C. W. Powell for
all time the jobs were worked and not manned by stationary
engineers S&E.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
