MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That on May 6, 1955, the Carrier violated the current controlling agreement and the Jurisdictional Dispute Board award
No. 487 when other than employes of the Machinists' Craft were
assigned to perform Machinists work of roughing up the tread of
stirrup steps on Diesel No. 504A.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to return the
aforementioned work to the Machinists' Craft and in addition thereto
Machinist G. W. Weekly and Machinist Helper C. L. Chancellor be
compensated on the basis of 4 hours at the applicable rate for May
6, 1955.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
