DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier arbitrarily
denied Car Inspectors R. E. Altensey, J. L. Brietbach, A. R. Darr,
B. F. Dauphin, J. C. Goetz, C. L. Loken, F. J. Misosh, D. M. Nichols,
J. O. Thulen and A. R. Vetrisek and Box Packers R. C. Brock, M. W.
Cate, E. L. Cellins, R. E. Fox, B. C. Letcher, W. J. Moore, P. E.
Merhardt, W. S. Rogers, E. G. Sweeley, and F. Webber the right to
work their regularly assigned work week of forty hours consisting
of five days of eight hours each in the amount of 8 hours on February
22, 1955.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to make these employes whole by additionally compensating them in the amount of 8
hours each at the time and one-half rate for the aforesaid date.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
