SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY (Pacific Lines)
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That Carrier unjustly removed Upholsterer Helper Grade L.
Ashley from service account alleged physical disability on February
24, 1955, and since aforesaid date has precluded his return to his
former employment and avocation.
2 That accordingly Carrier be ordered to restore him to service
with seniority rights unimpaired and compensate for all time lost
aforementioned Upholsterer Helper for deprivation suffered and
sustained during said period of unemployment.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
