PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 44, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'

CLINCHFIELD RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Power House Attendants to perform the duties
assigned to Power House Attendants, from June 27, 1955 to and
including July 10, 1955.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
(a). Discontinue using other than Power House Attendants to perform this work at Erwin, Tennessee.
(b). Compensate the following Power House Attendants
for eight hours each, at the applicable rate, for each day,
including the July 4th holiday, for the following employes:
J. C. Foster, first shift, June 27, 28, 29, 30 and July 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10th, 1955.
Lenvil Edwards, second shift, June 29, 30 and July 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10th, 1955.
W. L. Foster, swing shift-relief man, second shift
June 27, 28 and July 4 and 5th, 1955. Third shift, July 2,
3, 9 and 10th, 1955. First shift, July 1 and 8th, 1955.
H. H. Bradshaw, swing shift, relief man for July 2, 1955.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
