DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier in the furloughing of Crane Operator C. G.
Youngblood (Electrician Helper) deprived him of his service rights
while the Crane Operators work was performed by other employes
on May 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30. June 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,
21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29 and 30. July 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30. August 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9,
10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25 and 26, 1954.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to make this employe
whole during the aforesaid days in the amount of 8 hours each at the
crane operator's rate of pay.
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
The above question was submitted to the
Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above
referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt
of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
