CHESAPEAKE AND OHIO RAILWAY COMPANY, THE

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier is improperly assigning other than Carmen to remove and apply number light lettering and stencil identification on both headlight and number lights on Diesel Locomotive at Huntington, West Virginia.

2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to:

a) Restore the aforesaid work to Carmen Painters

b) Additionally compensate the Carmen Painters for any and all wage loss suffered by them subsequent to July 7, 1955.

STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
