NORTHERN PACIFIC TERMINAL COMPANY OF OREGON
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
"1. That under the current agreement Sheet Metal Worker
Alfred S. Smith was improperly ordered to lay off on his regular
work day July 19, 1955 and work his rest day on July 21, 1955.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
a) Discontinue these improper unilateral assignments;
b) Additionally compensate this employe in the
amount of eight hours at straight time for July 19, plus
four hours additional for working his rest day July 21."
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
