PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

    SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 16, RAILWAY EMPLOYES' DEPARTMENT, A. F. of L.-C. I. O. (Firemen and Oilers)


      NORFOLK AND WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY


DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That under the current agreement, engine Watchmen N. E. Duncan and R. G. Bassett were improperly denied their seniority rights at Pulaski Shop when they were displaced from their positions on April 18 and 19, 1954, respectively.


    2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to


    (a) Return the aforesaid employes to their engine watchmen's position at Pulaski Shop.


    (b) Compensate the aforesaid employes for all time lost retroactive to the aforementioned dates.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing was held thereon, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.


                  AWARD


    Claim dismissed.
