NEW YORK, CHICAGO AND ST. LOUIS RAILROAD
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That the Carrier violated
the current agreement when they improperly assigned Pipefitter Helper I.
Hostetler to fill vacation vacancies of Pipefitters after June 1, 1955.
2. That, accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate
the Pipefitters hereinafter named for the days enumerated at the applicable
overtime rate of pay:
Frank Smith -June 9, 12, 13, 16 and 18, 1955
L. J. Peterman -June 10, 11, 17, 19 and 20, 1955
E. R. Rodenbaugh -July 21, 22, 28 and 29, 1955
A. L. Benedum -July 23, 24, 30 and 31, 1955
iV. M. Penley -July 25 and August 1, 1955
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case.be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
