LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: 1. That the Carrier violated
the terms of the current agreement when on December 16, 1953 they supplanted carmen with foreman and others at Bowling Green, Kentucky.
2 a) That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to restore a
sufficient number of Carmen, and
b) Compensate them (Carmen) 8 hours for each shift
subsequent to 7 :30 A. M., December 16, 1953.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
