CHESAPEAKE AND OHIO RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the current agreement was violated when the carrier
changed the assigned rest days of William M. Milligan from Saturday and Sunday to Sunday and Monday, effective August 14, 1954.
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to:
(a) Compensate this employe at the punitive rate
for August 14, 1954 and each subsequent Saturday thereafter through and including February 28, 1955.
(b) Additionally compensate this employe at rate
and one-half and straight time rate for Labor Day Holiday,
September 6, 1954 as per the August 21, 1954 Agreement.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
