SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY (Pacific Lines)
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the controlling agreement the Carrier improperly assigned other than Carmen to perform Carmen's work on July
21 and 22, 1955.
That under the applicable agreements the Carrier improperly denied the claim of Carman A. Del Bono to compensation equivalent to the time spent by other than Carmen in the performance of
Carmen's work.
3. That, accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate Carman A. Del Bono in the amount of seven and one-half
(7?!) hours at the time and one-half rate for the aforementioned
period.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was not held, and the Division is now
in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
