THE PULLMAN COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That at the Seattle District, The Pullman Company violated
the controlling agreement when they improperly denied Electrician
John Steed to complete his bulletined hours of service when he
reported for service on his regularly assigned work days, May 17th
and 18th, 1956.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate
Electrician John Steed 8 hours' pay for each day of the aforesaid
dates at the applicable straight time rate of pay.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
