PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 117, RAILWAY EMPLOYES' DEPARTMENT, A. F. of L.-C. I. O. (Sheet Metal Workers)


      WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY


    DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:


    That under the current agreement other than Sheet Metal Workers were improperly used to perform on September 7, 1955, the work consisting of the bending, fitting, cutting, threading, connecting and disconnecting of oil and gas pipes to storage tanks in yards and buildings.


    That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate the Sheet Metal Workers Vernon Johnson, Tony Miguel and G. W. Breedlove the number of hours required to perform this work equally divided amongst them at the applicable rate of pay.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

                  AWARD


    Claim dismissed.
