DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement other than Boilermakers
were improperly assigned in the sand house at East Joliet, Illi
nois, on March 22 and 23, 1956 to:
a) remove, repair and reinstall 4' x 4' x
s/4
" netting
b) remove, repair and reinstall 4' x 4' x 4' sand hop-
per made of 5/16" boiler plate,
i/4"
and
3/s"
angle iron.
c) remove and reinstall fan belt and motor housing.
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate the following named employes of the Boilermakers'
craft eight (8) hours each at the applicable straight time rate of
pay for the aforesaid violation:
M. Gleason - Boilermaker
John Gleason - Boilermaker
I. Kubinski - Boilermaker Helper
E. Larson - Boilermaker Helper
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
Organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
