DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
(a) That under the current agreement other than Sheet Metal
Workers were improperly used to do pipe work in applying brake
equipment on pile driver No. 097 while in shop of the carrier at
Pittsburg, Kansas, from February 2, 1954 to May 15, 1954.
(b) That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate the employes hereafter listed in the amount set forth
following each name
Sheet Metal Worker C. K. Emerson, 8 hours, May 6, 1954.
Sheet Metal Worker E. F. Passmore, 8 hours, May 7, 1954.
Sheet Metal Worker Avery Collins, 8 hours, May 11, 1954.
Sheet Metal Worker R. H. Mielke, 8 hours, May 10, 1954.
Sheet Metal Worker Helper C. A. Thomas, 8 hours, May 6,
1954.
Sheet Metal Worker Helper Henry Wente, 8 hours, May 7,
1954.
Sheet Metal Worker Helper H. G. Hayworth, 8 hours, May 10,
1954.
Sheet Metal Worker Helper G. A. Long, 8 hours, May 11,
1954.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
Organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
