THE PULLMAN COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That at the Calumet Shop, The Pullman Company violated
the controlling agreement when they failed to bulletin a position that
was vacant during the period of July 20th to September 4, 1956.
2. That, accordingly, The Pullman Company be ordered to
compensate Electrician A. Bracolino eight hours per day for July 20,
23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, August 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, at the rate
of the position that was vacant which was $2.238 per hour.
3. That, accordingly, The Pullman Company be ordered to
compensate Electrician F. Parks an additional six cents per hour
eight hours per day for August 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24,
27, 28, 29, 30, 31, September 1, 2 and 3, 1956.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
