DEPARTMENT, AFL (Machinists)
LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the controlling agreement other than Machinists
were improperly assigned duties of operating a 24- Lodge & Shipley,
engine lathe, to stone traction motor armature commutators, November 21, 1952.
2. That, accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to assign the aforementioned work to the machinist craft and reimburse Machinists for
the time other than Machinists were used to operate the lathe.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form,, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
