DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier, beginning on
November 30 and on various dates in December, ending on December
21, 1955, arbitrarily assigned Carmen to perform Machinists' work,
such as removing and installing three gasoline engines on motor cars
in the Sioux City Motor Car Shops.
2. That The Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway
Company be ordered to compensate Machinist Elmer Peterson at the
applicable rates of pay for the amounts set opposite the following
dates:
(a) November 30, 1955-2i/2 hours.
(b) December 7, 1955-1 hour and December 16, 1955-2 hours.
(c) December 5, 6, 7, 8, 17, 19 and 21, 1955-21/2 hours on each
of said dates.
(d) December 14, 1955-4 hours.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
