DULUTH, WINNIPEG AND PACIFIC RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement:
(a) The Carrier improperly assigned other than Laborers to perform Laborers work at West Duluth, Minnesota,
on April 20, 1956, and thereafter.
(b) The Carrier violated terms of Article Five, Carrier's Proposal No. Seven, when they failed to reply within
time limits set forth in said article.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:
(a) Discontinue the use of other than laborers to do
laborer's work.
(b) Additionally compensate roundhouse laborers in
accordance with position on overtime list, five days per week
in the amount of eight hours at the time and one-half rate
each day.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
