SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 21, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Sheet Metal Workers)
NEW ORLEANS-NORTH EASTERN RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CI-AIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Sheet Metal Workers to perform all sheet metal
workers' work at Meridian, Mississippi Shop on January 18, 1956, and
all other dates thereafter.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Sheet
Metal Worker Isadore Rowell for eight (8) hours at the straight time
rate for January 18, 1956, and all subsequent dates thereafter that
other than Sheet Metal Workers are assigned to perform Sheet Metal
Workers' work at the Meridian Shop.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
