SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 99, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Sheet Metal Workers)
ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier improperly assigned other than Sheet Metal
Workers to assist in the performing of Sheet Metal Workers' work.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Sheet
Metal Workers, J. C. Philpot, Markham Locomotive Department,
eight (8) hours' pay at the time and one-half rate of pay for February 3, 1956, and B. E. Johnson, Markham Locomotive Department,
four (4) hours' pay at the time and one-half rate of pay for February 10, 1956.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
