DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier violated the current agreement when:
(a) they did not allow Car Oilers D. D. Scovil, D. J.
Marietta and M. F. Miley to work their assignment an September 5, 1955, at Freeport, Illinois.
(b) Car Inspector A. J. Cremer was called and worked
from 11 P.M. to 3 A.M., and Car Inspector E. Christian was
called and worked from 12:30 A.M. to 5:30 A.M., September
5, 1955, at Freeport, Illinois.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate:
(a) the employes named in 1 (a) above eight (8) hours
each at the time and one-half rate of pay for September 5,
1955.
(b) A. J. Cremer four (4) hours at the time and onehalf rate and E. Christian three (3) hours at the time and
one-half rate for September 5, 1955.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
