PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 71, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Electrical Workers)
DULUTH, MISSABE & IRON RANGE RAILWAY CO.
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly
deprived the following Electrician Helper Apprentices of their service
rights at Proctor, Minnesota on the dates indicated.
1. Paul L. Martin-July 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16,
17, and 18, 1956. Raymond J. Carlson-July 16, 17, and
18, 1956.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate the aforesaid employes eight (8) hours each at the
applicable straight time rate of pay for the aforesaid dates
of violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
