THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA & SANTA FE RAILWAY SYSTEM
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, Carmen J. B. Finley and
A. W. Craft were denied the right to fill a vacation relief position for
the duration of August 6, 1956 through August 24, 1956 at Carlsbad,
New Mexico.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate each at their applicable time and one-half rate of pay for
the dates listed:
(a) Carman J. B. Finley for August 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and
22, 1956.
(b) Carman A. W. Craft for August 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17,
20, 23 and 24, 1956.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
