DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier improperly
contracted to the Ray Hickey Metal Shop the work of installing and
repairing Sheet Metal flashing around the chimneys and installing
new downspouts and gutters on the Union Passenger Station at Salina, Kansas starting May 7, 1956.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Sheet Metal Workers John Maendele and Guy Comier forty
(40) hours each at the applicable straight time rate of pay for the
aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and request has now been received from the employes
that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
