DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier violated the controlling agreement particularly .Rule 53, when others than Machinists' Helpers were assigned to alemite swivel joints on fuel oil standards at Osawatomie,
Kansas on July 18, 1956.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to compensate Machinist Helpers W. E. Diedicker and D. W. Smith in the amount of
four (4) hours each at the straight time rate for July 18, 1956 and as
long as the violation continues.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon has not been held, and the
Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be
withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
