DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly assigned other than Electrical Workers of the Maintenance of Equipment Department to-



2) Maintain lights in truck shop.

3) Repair exhaust motors on roof of Paint Shop.

4) Test and repair lighting circuit in air room in Paint Shop.

5) Maintain fire alarm system.

6) Install an electrical buffing machine in the Signal Shop.

7) Repair overhead door motors in the Store House-

all at Burnside Shops, Chicago, Illinois on various dates beginning November 27, 1956 through December 10, 1956, thereby damaging the Electrical Workers of the Maintenance of Equipment Department in the amount of 306 hours of work, and that, accordingly:


The following regularly employed employes of the Carrier of the Maintenance of Equipment Department be compensated at the applicable time and one-half rate for each man hour worked which they were entitled to perform under the applicable rules of the current agreement:

STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
