NATIONAL RAILROAD ADJUSTMENT BOARD

addition Referee Livingston Smith when the award was rendered.
PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 150, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Sheet Metal Workers)
THE CINCINNATI UNION TERMINAL COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Sheet Metal Workers to the work of repairing
leaks in freon pipes and renewing 5/81, copper pipe where it was
necessary, also cleaned pipe joints in order to sweat them together,
also sweating pipe joints and cutting out old pipes to be renewed on
NYC 3000 coach, May 3, 1956.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Sheet
Metal Workers E. Cannon and E. Feldkamp, each in the amount of
eight (8) hours pay at the applicable overtime rate for May 3, 1956.
FINDINGS: The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the
whole record and all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this
dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the
Railway Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute
involved herein.
The parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon.
The facts and circumstances as well as the parties being similar to those
herein, disposition. of this claim is governed by our Award No. 2747. (Docket
No. 2593 CUT-SM).

AWARD
Remanded to the parties for further handling in accordance with the provisions of the jurisdictional dispute agreement.
